Scientific Instruments’ QB2-Plus measures the duration of the magnetizing shot and provides a quantitative verification of Quick Break function.

Both Shot time and Quick Break volt-age are shown on the LCD display after each shot event.

The QB2-Plus can accurately verify the correct shot time duration of AC, HWDC, and FWDC single or 3 phase equipment, and verify Quick Break function on single phase and 3-phase FWDC units. The QB2 probe is placed inside the coil (or perpendicular to a output cable) during a magnetizing shot. Quick break voltage and shot time are captured and displayed on the LCD display.

Using the QB-2 Plus to check your single phase and 3-phase FWDC magnetic particle inspection equipment will help en-sure residual field is properly developed during processing and gives sharper resolution of transverse indications.
