The 3PH/RECT/10KA replaces all the old tub type rectifier assemblies that use stud rectifiers, up to 4 tubs in parallel to get a 6000 amp output. This one assy replaces more than 4 of those tub assemblies in 1/3 of the space, so it drops right in the empty space, after the stud assy’s are removed.
The diodes are rated for 400v, and each one has a overvoltage protector across it..there are only 6 diodes needed, due to the high ampacity of modern diodes. This unit has been used in the field for over 30 years with no failures.
The heatsinks are high quality extruded aluminum, and the lower heatsinks have 100cfm fans attached, so usually you don’t need any other external fans…
